Located in the northwest portion of the county south of the Tri-Lakes area with the Pike National Forest on the west, Baptist Road to the north, Colorado Highway 83 to the east, and South of Monument, across from the north entrance to the Air Force academy, is Gleneagle, a custom home site community with a stunning panorama of the surrounding mountains. To the west, the Air Force Academy glitters in the sunlight. To the south, snowcapped Pikes Peak rises over the foothills and Colorado Springs.

The Front Range of the Rocky Mountains runs north-south through this region as does I-25, the major artery to Denver in the North and Albuquerque to the south. This area consists of rolling hills, minimal vegetation affording spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Air Force Academy, well others in this area have limited views but with the privacy and seclusion provided by numerous trees.

The area to the west of I-25 is almost exclusively property of the Air Force Academy. Northgate lies north of the city limits and directly east of the Air Force Academy. Gleneagle is a relatively small community in the Colorado Springs area that lies just along Interstate 25. This area truly has some of the best views of the Air Force Academy and front range that can be found. Glenagle has an outstanding golf course and country club and consists of older custom homes on larger lots and newer homes on smaller lots. Commute times to Colorado Springs from this area are generally in the of twenty to twenty-five minutes and a lot of people who live that make the commute to Denver. To the east of Glenagle is an area called Fox Run is a brand new development in a heavily-treed region with both semi-custom and custom homes of a half acre or more lots. There are some pockets of 5 acre parcels that allow horses and feature nice homes. This area is great for people who want to be near town, but do not want to live in town with all the traffic.
